Toyota 4Runner 2001 is a midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV) and it is above the RAV4 and the Highlander (started in the spring of 2004), but below the Land Cruiser and the new Sequoia (started 2001) in price and size in Toyota's lineup. This year model is available with a six-cylinder engine, there is a choice of either a four- or two-wheel drive, and it comes only with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
